Technical recommendation for the purchase of overhead line RTTR systems
Overview
This document sets out the technical requirements developed, that enabled the purchase of Real Time Thermal Rating (RTTR) systems applied to overhead lines on the Northern Powergrid power distribution networks for the Customer-Led Network Revolution project.
This document will be of interest to Distribution Network Operators (DNO’s) embarking on, or considering undertaking similar projects.
