About our Trials

There has been little research into the loads placed on the electricity network by small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs), or the ways in which they can contribute to shifting demand out of peak. We are working with SME customers to monitor their patterns of electricity consumption and trialling new commercial arrangements that will enable us to understand whether these customers are able to shift their consumption out of peak to take advantage of lower tariffs.
