Achieving effective customer engagement is an essential component of a smart grid and an important part of this and other smart grid projects. But it is less familiar territory for distribution companies than the technological aspects of the project. For this reason, Northern Powergrid set up a workshop to exchange information on customer engagement between smart grid projects and learn from other national experts.
